Baking Gratitude Pie

Happy Thanksgiving! 

I hope today is filled with an abundance of gratitude, laughter with friends and family, joy, and yummy food! 

 

As I am sitting in a hammock on the beach doing my devotional time this morning, I was reminded of how much power a grateful heart has and just how many unique things I have to be grateful for. With that in mind, I thought it would be fun to share the top 25 things im grateful for this year!

1. Team Eden

I am thankful for how these sweet girls are consistent in pointing me back to the Father and loving me so incredibly intentionally! 

2.Singleness

I am thankful for a season to be so intentionally pursuing the Father and truly falling in love with him, my first love. 

3.Abundance

I am so thankful for the abundance of joy, hope, provision, protection and a million other things that I find in the arms of the Father. I lack nothing when I rest in his love. 

4.The Sovereignty of God

I am so thankful to know that God has the best plans for me and my life and is working all things for my good! 

5.Christ-like Community

I am so thankful for each person that God so intentionally places on this squad to chase after being more like Christ alongside me! 

6. Technology 

I am thankful for the ability to keep in contact with those at home even when I am out of the country! 

7.Protection

I am thankful for the Lord’s hand of protection that has been upon me and my squad! 

8. Color

I am so thankful that God made the world with so much beautiful color! 

9. My unique giftings and passions

I am thankful for the ability to explore the unique giftings and passions and discover how he wants me to use those for his glory!

10.Music

I am so thankful for music and how it is something that brings so much joy to life!

11. Fresh Fruit

I am so thankful for the AMAZING fresh fruit here! 

12. Growth

I am so thankful for all the new things the Lord is showing me and the growth coming from that! 

13. My Current Home

I am thankful for the chaos that comes with a house of 45 because there is so much sweetness in living in a house of some of my closest friends! 

14. The whisper of God’s voice 

I am so thankful for the tender whisper of God throughout my day! 

15. Newness in Christ

I am so incredibly thankful that because Jesus died on the cross I do not have to carry my sins anymore. 

16. Cloudy days

I am thankful for the cloudy cool days that are so rare here! 

17. Vegetation 

I am thankful for all the beautiful vegetation God uses to make our world so beautiful! 

18. A real pillow and mattress 

I am thankful for the cozy bed I have had the opportunity to sleep on over the last month! 

19. Food

I am thankful for all the food provisions that God has provided for me and my squad! 

20. Chacos

I am thankful for my favorite pair of shoes that get me where I need to go and work under almost any circumstances! 

21. Farmers and Agriculture 

I know it may be cliche, but I am so thankful for all the people who work so hard to grow our food and get it to stores for us to purchase! 

22. My trustee waterbottle

I am thankful for the ability to take water with me everywhere I go! 

23. Feedback

I am so thankful for the ability to have learned how to give and receive hard feedback and to do so in love!

I am so thankful for each new person that I have met so far on this race and for all the people who have touched my life even with the smallest interaction! 

25. My supporters! 

I am so thankful to have each and every one of you praying for me and invested in what God is doing in my life and around the world. God is on the move!
