Heyo! I’m gonna make this one short and sweet, but just wanted to hop on here and give you all two big updates!
1) I am fully funded for my World Race Trip!
It is so crazy to even say that out loud! 15,800 dollars is not a small amount of money! There have been so many times that I didn’t know if I was going to make it or not, but God showed up. Every step of the way he provided even more than I could have imagined. I am so incredibly thankful for the opportunity to fund raise for this trip because it allowed me to see just how God provides for his children when they follow him where he leads them. It is funny to think that I have turned other volunteer or ministry opportunities down in the past because I thought fundraising was too much, yet here I am sharing what God fund raised to allow me to be where I am today. Definitely a full circle moment.
Thank you to every one of you who prayed for me as I fund raised, donated to my trip, or even helped with the fundraisers I did. I would not be where I am without this incredible community of believers cheering me on.
2) I made it to the Adventures in Missions Base in Gainesville, Georgia! Yesterday, I had to say my final goodbyes to my family as I left home. The last 24 hours have been really hard, but I know that it will get easier. Being away from my family and friends for this long is super new to me and every new season comes with growing pains. Even through tear filled eyes I know that I am supposed to be here. I may not know what the Lord has to teach me here quite yet, but I will know in his timing.
